Value of Education
Thursday, January 8th, 2009I am currently working sixteen hours a day for me to be able to provide for my family and sent my two children in college. I would like them to be full time students so I do the earning and working myself. I know how hard it is working and studying at the same time, chances are your grades will be affected and your health will be in jeopardy. It was a bit late before I realize the value of education. My parents trust me that I was going to school each day, with my allowance and tuition fees. But I never spent two days a week in a classroom, I could be found on bars, billiard halls and in some place hidden from the society. When my parents found out what I had been doing , they cut off all the money for my school. I learned to work then. Now all the job I have are blue collar jobs. If only I had gotten a degree, I should be in a skyscraper with a tie and a coat. I could not bring back the time anymore but I can guide my children to a better future and a better education.
